Tips on the usage of LED Display

Thank you for choosing our LED display. In order to ensure that you can use the LED display normally and protect your rights and interests, please read the following precautions carefully before starting to use:

1. LED display handling, transportation precautions

(1). When transporting, handling and storing the LED display, strictly follow the anti-marking requirements on the outer packaging, pay attention to anti-collision and anti-bumping, waterproof and moisture-proof, no dropping, correct direction, etc. The LED display is a fragile and easily damaged product, please protect it during installation. Do not knock on the light surface, as well as the surrounding of LED module and the cabinet, etc., to avoid damage due to hit, and ultimately cause it to fail to be installed or used normally. Important note: The LED module cannot be bumped, because the damage to the component pads will cause irreparable damage.

(2). LED display storage environment temperature: -30C≤T≤65C, humidity 10-95%. LED display working environment temperature: -20C≤T≤45℃, humidity 10-95%.If can not meet the above requirements, please add dehumidification, Temperature control, ventilation and other facilities and equipment. If the steel structure of the screen is relatively closed, the ventilation and heat dissipation of the screen should be considered, and ventilation or cooling equipment should be added. Do not discharge the indoor warm air into the  flexible LED screen.

Important note: The damping of the indoor LED screen will cause the screen to be irreversible damage.

2. LED display electricity precautions

(1). The power supply voltage requirements of the LED display: it needs to be consistent with the voltage of the display power supply, 110V/220V±5%; frequency: 50HZ ~ 60HZ;

(2). The LED module is powered by DC +5V (working voltage: 4.2~5.2V), and it is forbidden to use AC power supply; the positive and negative poles of the power terminals are strictly forbidden to be reversed (note: once reversed, the product will burn out and even cause a serious fire) ;

(3). When the total power of the LED display is less than 5KW, single-phase voltage can be used for power supply; when it is larger than 85KW, it is required to use the three-phase five-wire voltage power distribution box, and the load of each phase is as even average as possible; the distribution box must have ground wire access, and the connection with the ground is reliable, and the ground wire and the neutral wire cannot be short-circuited; the power distribution box needs to be well protected against leakage current, and protection devices such as lightning arresters need to be connected, and the connected power supply should be kept away from high-power electrical equipment .

(4). Before the LED display is powered on, it is necessary to check the connection of the  the main power cable and power cables between the cabinets,etc., there should be no wrong connection, reverse, short circuit, open circuit, looseness, etc., and use a multimeter and other tools to test and verify. Before any maintenance work, please cut off all the power in the rental LED display to ensure the safety of yourself and the equipment. All equipment and connecting wires are prohibited from live operation. If any abnormality such as short circuit, tripping, burning wire, smoke is found, power-on test should not be repeated, and the problem should be found in time.

3. LED display installation and maintenance precautions

(1). When the fixed LED cabinet is installed, please weld the steel structure first, confirm that the structure is grounded, and eliminate static electricity; after confirming that it is qualified, install the LED display and other follow-up work. Pay attention to: welding while installing or adding welding after the installation is finished. Welding, to prevent welding slag, electrostatic reaction and other damage to the internal components of the LED display, and the serious situation may cause the LED module to be scrapped. When the LED cabinet is installed, the LED cabinet in the first row at the bottom must be assembled well to ensure that there are no obvious gaps and dislocations before continuing to assemble upwards. When installing and maintaining the LED display, it is necessary to isolate and seal the area that may fall. Before removing, please tie a safety rope to the LED module or the corresponding panel to prevent it from falling off.

(2). The LED display has a high consistency. During installation, do not have paint, dust, welding slag and other dirt sticking to the LED module light surface or the surface of the LED display, so as not to affect the LED display effect.

(3). The LED display should not be installed near the seaside or waterside. High salt fog, high temperature and high humidity can easily cause the LED display components to be damp, oxidized and corroded. If it is really necessary, it is necessary to communicate with the manufacturer in advance to do special three-proof treatment and do good ventilation, dehumidification, cooling and other work.

(4). Minimum viewing distance of LED display = pixel pitch (mm) * 1000/1000 (m), optimal viewing distance = pixel pitch (mm) * 3000/1000 (m), farthest viewing distance =LED display height * 30 (m).

(5). When unplugging or plugging the cable, 5V power cable, network cable, etc., do not pull it directly.Press the pressure head of the ribbon cable with two fingers, shake it left and right and slowly pull it out. Both the power cable and the data cable need to be pressed after the buckle. When unplugging, the aviation head wire is generally snap-type. When unplugging and plugging, please carefully check the indicated direction and pair the male and female headers. Do not place heavy objects on cables such as power cables, signal cables, and communication cables. Avoid the cable is deeply stepped on or squeezed, the inside of the LED display should not be arbitrarily connected to the cable.

4. The use of LED display environment precautions

(1). Observe the environment of the LED display body and the control part, avoid the LED display body from being bitten by insects and mice, and place anti-rat medicine if necessary. When the ambient temperature is too high or the heat dissipation conditions are not good, you should be careful not to open the LED display for a long time.

(2). When a part of the LED display appears very bright, you should pay attention to closing the LED display in time. In this state, it is not suitable to open the LED display for a long time.

(3). When it is often confirmed that the power switch of the LED display is tripped, the LED display body should be checked or the power switch should be replaced in time.

(4). Regularly check the firmness of the LED display connection. If there is any looseness, you should adjust it in time. If necessary, you can re-reinforce or replace the hanger.

(5). Observe the environment of the LED display body and the control part, avoid the LED display body from being bitten by insects, and place anti-rat medicine if necessary.

 

5. LED display software operation precautions

(1). The LED display is recommended to be equipped with a dedicated computer, install software that is not related to the LED display, and regularly disinfect other storage devices such as U disk. Use or play or watch irrelevant videos on it, so as not to affect the playback effect, and non-professional staff are not allowed to dismantle or move the equipment related to the LED display without authorization. Non-professional personnel cannot operate the software system.

(2). Backup software such as application programs, software installation programs, and databases.Proficient in installation method, original data recovery, backup level. Master the setting of control parameters and the modification of basic data presets. Proficient in using, operating and editing programs. Regularly check for viruses and delete irrelevant data.

6. LED display switch precautions

1. Sequence of switching the LED display: Turning on the LED display: Please turn on the computer first, and then turn on the power of the LED display after entering the system normally. Avoid turning on the LED display in the state of full white screen, because it is the maximum power state at this time, and its impact current on the entire power distribution system Maximum; Turning off the LED display: Firstly turn off the power of the LED display body, turn off the control software, and then shut down the computer correctly; (Turn off the computer first without turning off the LED display, which will cause the LED display to appear bright spots, burn the lamp, and the consequences will be serious)

7. Precautions for trial operation of new LED display

(1). Indoor products: A. New LED display stored within 3 months can be played at normal brightness; B. For a new LED display that has been stored for more than 3 months, set the screen brightness to 30% for the first time it is turned on, run continuously for 2 hours, shut down for half an hour, turn it on and set the screen brightness to 100%, run it continuously for 2 hours, and observe whether the LED screen is normal. After normal, set the screen brightness according to customer requirements.

(2). Outdoor products can install and use the screen normally.

(LED display is an electronic product, it is recommended to open the LED display to run regularly.) For indoor LED display that have been installed and have been turned off for more than 15 days, reduce the brightness of the LED display and video aging when using it again. For the process, please refer to above NO. 7 ( B) During the trial operation of the new LED display, it cannot be highlighted and continuously run in white. For outdoor LED display that have been installed and have been turned off for a long time, please check the internal conditions of the LED display before turning on the LED display. If OK, it can be powered on normally.
