Transparent LED screen common driving methods are static scanning and dynamic scanning. Static scanning is divided into static real pixels and static virtual. Dynamic scanning is also divided into dynamic real image and dynamic virtual. Let’s take a look at the following:
First, transparent LED screen scanning method classification:
Scan mode: The ratio of the number of lines lit at the same time to the number of lines in the entire area in a certain display area.
1. Dynamic scanning: Dynamic scanning is to control the “point to row” from the output of the driver IC to the pixel. The dynamic scanning requires a control circuit, the cost is lower than the static scanning, but the display will be worse, the brightness loss is larger. .
2.Static scanning: Static scanning is from the output of the driver IC to the pixel point to implement “point-to-point” control, static scanning does not require control circuitry, the cost is higher than dynamic scanning, but the display effect is good, stability, brightness loss smaller etc advantages.
Second, according to the environment
Indoor single and double color is generally 1/16 scan.
Indoor full color is generally 1/8 scan.
Outdoor single and double colors are generally 1/4 scan.
Outdoor full color is generally a static scan.
Third, by model
1. Scanning mode of indoor transparent LED screen: P3.9 is constant current 1/16, P7.8 is constant current 1/8, P10.4 is constant current 1/6
2. Outdoor transparent LED screen (LED curtain wall screen, outdoor rental transparent screen) scanning method: P10.4 is constant current 1/2, P13.8, P16.6 is static.
Fourth, transparent LED screen 1 / 8 and 1 / 16 scanning mode:
1/8 scan: Under the same conditions, the 1/8 scan display has only half of the brightness of the 1/4 scan display, suitable for semi-outdoor and indoors. The control method is to increase from four LEDs of 1/4 to eight LEDs. The current is scanned between 8 LEDs.
1/16 scan: This is a lower-brightness drive and is generally only used indoors. The way they are controlled is also analogous.
