What should I do if the electronic LED display is on fire?

Nowadays, there are many kinds of LED displays, which dazzle many customers. Commercial LED displays for advertising are installed in major commercial plazas. However, the LED display products are not well-matched, resulting in frequent LED screen security problems, and fire is a major problem. Why does the LED display catch fire?

First, the power cable: the quality of the cable on the market is staggered, many wire spools are copper clad aluminum, the surface looks like copper wire, the practice is aluminum alloy wire; this wire/cable is generally used for temporary use, basically can not be used on the regular product. There are also copper doubts about copper wire, doubts about the insulation layer, and doubts about the wire diameter (common requirements are more than 1.2 times the maximum power of the display).Only one of these questions is ignored, and they will bury hidden dangers. It is currently causing great disasters.

Second, the power supply: use inferior power supply, or the maximum limit to use the extra power of the power supply, resulting in temporary overloading of the power supply (usually only 70% of the extra power of the power supply), and then the power cable terminal is inferior and snoring is not strong, these can be the cause of the hidden dangers of the police;

Third, the PCB board: its own data is inferior, the copper is too thin, the plan is unreasonable, the process is poor, the copper wire has burrs and other scenes will have circuit short circuit, which becomes the source of fire hazard;

Fourth, the cooling system. The LED display screen is tasked at high temperatures, and the heat dissipation problem becomes the first question of the demand processing. If the cooling air duct plan is unreasonable, it will easily lead to dust gathering on the main shaft of the fan, the power supply and the main board, resulting in poor heat dissipation, short circuit of electronic components, and the death of the electric fan, thus causing an alarm.

Fifth, service and maintenance. On the one hand, the display supplier did not have systematic training on the purchase of the customer, resulting in non-standard operation. The other aspect is that the display supplier has not carried out the maintenance of the LED display that has been sold, and the maintenance may not be real-time in the early stage, which makes it impossible to invent the situation in real time.

Whether the fire performance of the LED display is qualified is mainly related to the two aspects of the fire display raw materials and the box process of the LED display. Here, the focus is on the analysis of the four factors that cause the led display to catch fire:

Plastic kit factor

The plastic kit is an important part of the fire-resistant raw materials for the display. Because it is mainly used for the bottom cover of the unit panel module mask, it uses a PC+ glass fiber material with flame retardant function. It not only has flame retardant function, but also can be deformed, brittle and cracked under high and low temperature and long-term use. At the same time, it uses a good sealing glue, which can effectively block the rainwater from the external environment from infiltrating into the interior, thus avoiding the fire caused by the short circuit.

Wire factor

The larger the display per unit area of the display, the greater the amount of power used, and the higher the stability requirements for the wire. Among the many wire products, only the wire that meets the national standard can be used to ensure its safety and stability. These requirements must be met when selecting: First, the core must be a copper wire conductive carrier. Second, the wire core cross-sectional area tolerance is within the standard range value. Finally, the insulation and flame retardancy of the wrapped core rubber should meet the standard.

Power factor

When selecting a power supply, only UL-certified power supplies are the best choice. Because its effective conversion rate ensures the safety and stability of the power supply load, it can work normally even when the external environment temperature is hot.

External protective structural material factor

It is especially important in selecting the outer protective structure of the display. Because the aluminum-plastic panel of the general outdoor display product has a low fireproof rating, it ages rapidly with high temperature and rain and cold, so that it can easily penetrate into the screen body during the relatively humid climate season, which easily leads to electronics. A short circuit in the component causes a fire. Therefore, we must choose the aluminum-plastic panel with high fire-proof grade on the market, so that the fire resistance is excellent, the fire-retardant property is strong, and the oxygen aging performance of the core material is strong, so as to avoid the fire.
